jute Apart from jute slippers, various macramé based products like pot hangers and hammocks are made by groups belonging to the Sasha family. |

terra-cotta This is a craft which West Bengal is famous for and many products and designs ranging from partly glazed tableware to intricately worked tiles, are available. |
musical instruments These instruments have been used by the 'bauls' or wandering minstrels of Bengal for centuries. |
stuffed toy hangings These are made by women and since the craft is easy to learn, a number of variations in design are possible. |
