Sasha works with over a hundred craft groups that possess a wide variety of skills. Some of these are covered in detail in this site. blue pottery
The famous and traditional pottery from Rajastan with handpainted floral and animal motifs in vibrant colors of blue, yellow and green.
tailoring
These women's groups are equipped to handle large orders for garments, accessories and household linen.
embroidery
There is a variety of embroidery available - kantha, aari, bead work etc.
textile weaving
Sasha works with several weaving units and has access to skills in both
plain fabric and in brocades. They also experiment with natural dyes.
embroidered evening bags
Are made wiith a wide range of textiles like organza, silk and tussar and embelished with beads and fine needle work.
jute
Apart from jute slippers, various macramé based products like pot hangers and hammocks are made by groups belonging to the Sasha family.
jewelry
A variety of beads are specially made for Sasha using skills like ceramic, terra-cotta and dhokara. These can be put together in an infinite number of ways.
terra-cotta
This is a craft which West Bengal is famous for and many products and designs ranging from partly glazed tableware to intricately worked tiles, are available.
musical instruments
These instruments have been used by the 'bauls' or wandering minstrels of Bengal for centuries.
stuffed toy hangings
These are made by women and since the craft is easy to learn, a number of variations in design are possible.
embossed leather
Another craft which is found only in Bengal, hand embossing and coloring of leather offers wide scope to a designer for experiment.
wrought iron
A wide range of wrought iron furniture, home accessories and animal figures are made using both traditional and modern techniques.
